Supervisory Dentist

Serves as the senior dental professional with responsible of monitoring and reviewing services for quality and appropriateness of direct care and contract resources, including policy implementation and overall department management. Prepares reports as requested on department workload, quality improvement activities, and department budget. Supervises and evaluates work performance of subordinates, develops orientation, training program, competency program, and devises and implements projects and expectations for the dental staff. Participates in an integrated oral health program with other health services and provides treatment to patients with a range of simple to complex dental issues in the areas of restorative and preventive dentistry, and ensures appropriate medical records are maintained and updated by facility standards. Works independently to make judgements and evaluations of many different situations and determine the type of care needed, and obtains consultation as appropriate. Participates in the development and maintenance of public relations with other health disciplines and tribal health groups, as well as the community. Comply with clinical quality control and accreditation standards. Qualifications:
GS-12:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks:
Provide professional dental care in connection with the diagnostic treatment of commonly encountered dental diseases or dental health problems requiring standard corrective, restorative, or preventative measures; manage a dental program/office in a health care facility; supervise a dental staff; and participate in developing, monitoring and managing resources. You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
