REALTY SPECIALIST (CONTRACTS MGMT)
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
(OPM Operating Manual, Qualification Standards for Administrative and Management Positions, GS-1170). GS-11 I have at least 1 year of full-time specialized experience or the equivalent, comparable to at least the GS-09 in the Federal Service (obtained in either the public or private sector). This experience must include oversight to management of trust and restricted property. Perform on-site inspections for compliance. Recommend corrective action or changes where needed. Analyze land transactions such as applications, land descriptions, appraisals, NEPA, TSR, title document and other clearances for compliance. Respond to technical inquires and explains realty services and processes in for contract management operations. Consult with beneficiaries, lessees, land owners and other interested parties for contracting process, options, and other land needs; OR EDUCATION:
Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree; OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; OR LL.M., if related. GS-9:

This experience includes responding to technical inquiries and explaining Realty services and processes. Prepare draft realty transactions of moderate difficulty for review and approval. Prepare and publish advertisements of tracts for leases or contracts. Maintain and retrieve information from automated systems. Analyze transactions including applications, land descriptions, appraisals, NEPA, TSR, and other clearances, to ensure compliance; OR EDUCATION:
Master's or equivalent graduate degree; OR 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree (36 semester hours, 54 quarter hours or equivalent); OR LL.B. or J.D., if related to this position. GRADUATE EDUCATION:
Graduate education must be related to the occupation and demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. SPECIALIZED
Experience:
Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform successfully the duties of the position, and is typically in or related to the position to be filled. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement. Merit Promotion candidates must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the announcement closing date. Preference in filling vacancies is given to qualified Indian candidates in accordance with the Indian Preference Act of 1934 (title 25, USC Section 472).
